Pet Placement
Pet Placement Center aims to reduce animal suffering by finding responsible homes for animals in need, promoting spay/neuter to reduce pet homelessness, and emphasizing responsible animal care through education and example.
Chain Free Chattanooga
Chainfree Chattanooga, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, judgment-free organization whose mission is to build fences for dogs who are continuously tethered or confined in small pens.
Each family in our program receives spaying/neutering services, adequate dog houses with straw bedding, water and food buckets, “pooper scoopers”, fly traps, durable and mentally engaging toys and other supplies as needed – all at no cost to the owner.

Humane Educational Society is committed to finding each and every treatable, adoptable, trainable animal in our facility a loving home to make Hamilton County a better place for pets.
Here’s how it works:
1. Visit Rock City during Dog Days of Summer (June 20 – August 9, 2026). Pick up your Paws-port at the Ticket Desk!
2. Get your Paws-port stamped at the Rock City Ticket Window. Each visit earns one physical paw print stamp inside
this booklet. Collect 5 or more stamps by August 9th and receive one FREE Rock City dog leash.* You can redeem your leash at the Gardens Gateway Shop!
3. Scan the QR Code provided by the Ticket Window Partner. Scanning the QR code registers your visit into the
grand prize drawing for a chance to win a SEE ROCK CITY dog house. You’ll be asked to provide your email address, order # or pass # and name of pet (optional) each time you visit.**
A stamp shows your adventure and provides validation for a Rock City dog leash upon your fifth visit.
