Learn how the enchanting rock formations were developed through the history of the earth to bring us the beauty of the Rock City we see today. Rock City provides an unparalleled view of the southeastern landscape and a way to see the earth from a commanding position. Photos taken from our viewpoints provide students with a great tool to locate rivers, lakes, mountain ranges, and massive plains of pasture.

Educational
Groups
If you have 15 or more people, you will need to make a group reservation. Restrictions apply. Please call our group sales office at 706-719-4031 or 706-820-2531 or fill out this form to learn more.
Homeschool students are especially welcomed to Rock City during our annual homeschool days. IT’S SIMPLE! Just bring a letter of intent, attendance record or Homeschool ID card to our ticket desks, then you and your family members are off to enjoy a day of educational opportunities, adventure, and play!
Timed tickets are required for entry. Discounts may only be obtained as a walk-up ticket desk purchase and are available only for the next available time slots.
For 2026, the homeschool dates will be September 13-19, 2026.
