Rock City FAQs
Four-legged pets will enjoy the walk and are welcome if they are on a leash. Pets must use a leash not to exceed 8 feet in length at all times.
When visiting Rock City, most people spend 1 to 2 hours, but since the tour is self-guided, you can take as long as you like to explore the gardens, relax in a rocking chair, enjoy a meal, or shop.
Rock City is partially handicap accessible. The entrance at Gardens Gateway has an ADA ramp leading to Legacy Lane, which provides access to Lover’s Leap and the Seven States Flag Court. The round trip distance is about 1/2 mile.
Rock City is a family-friendly mountaintop attraction on Lookout Mountain featuring hiking trails for all ages, panoramic views, and iconic landmarks like the Swinging Bridge and Lover’s Leap.
Starting July 1, Smoking in any form, including vaping and e-cigarettes, will be strictly prohibited throughout the park.
