People aren’t the only ones that like to visit Rock City – up in the trees and around Lover’s Leap you’ll spot a variety of bird species.
One of our favorites is the peregrine falcon. Did you know that Rock City has been the release sight for numerous falcons? In partnership with Wings to Soar, a non-profit environmental organization that rehabilitates and cares for injured and non-releasable birds of prey, Rock City has released 18 peregrine falcons since 2006.
Bring your binoculars to catch a glimpse of some of these high-flying friends! How many do you think you’ll spot?
