There’s no cooler place to be than at Rock City! Where else can you wind through massive ancient rock formations and see seven states from one spot?
But we’ve gotten cooler in other ways too. Temperatures are considerably cooler where the Enchanted Trail winds through valleys of rock and magical caverns. In the Hall of the Mountain King, the temperature was recorded to be roughly 9 degrees cooler than the forecast. (We bet the waterfall and flowing streams help tremendously!)
Up above, shaded Legacy Lane provides a lovely stroll during the hottest of days. Under a canopy of trees, the Critter Classroom hosts spectacular bird shows, presented by Wings to Soar and Reflection Riding.
On your way to Lover’s Leap, swing by Hearth at the pavilion or Café 7 for refreshments or just a place to cool off.
Overhead misters are located at Prospector’s Point. Soak in the fresh spray of water and cool mountain breeze!
