There’s a “fresh” lineup of mouth watering dishes at Rock City! Chef Steve Gatlin and public relations manager Meagan Jolley present a taste of the new menu on WRCB’s “3 Plus You.”
Meat lovers rejoice: the all-fresh lineup is thick with flavor. Entrees include chicken thighs marinated with golden italian dressing and cajun seasoning with fennel, and a steak burger made with brisket, sirloin and ground chuck – from processing to your plate in just five days!
Fried chocolate pies are the perfect sweet treat. Inspired by the Lynnville Fried Pie Company of Lynnville, Tennessee, these delectables are baked daily and are found at Café 7 and Big Rock Grill.
These delicious meats can be prepared at home – with a bit of practice, of course, and with the right ingredients. In fact, you can gather all you need at the grocery store! Chef Steve recommends marinating a chicken thigh overnight or at least for 12 hours. This helps the fennel and cajun seasoning bloom with the vinaigrette, which brings out the flavor when it hits the grill.
