See Rock City in full bloom at this flower-filled festival! Discover a living fountain sculpture, engage with art throughout the gardens, and buy a plant to start a little enchantment in your own yard. Specialty spring treats available to purchase at locations around the garden will delight!
Local artist, Dana Shavin, will be on site Saturday, May 6, creating a large scale painting as she interacts with guests and invites them to engage in her creative process.
Rock City Artists will be working on site during the event and showcasing their work. Watch as Rock City artists create original works of art inspired by our beautiful Southern Blooms. Located in the Pavilion.
Plein air painters will be on site to create original art inspired by beautiful Rock City Gardens. Located throughout the park.
Live Entertainment
Matt Downer, the Old Time Traveler, will play his personal brand of old-time music, a very Rock City blend of Appalachian and bluegrass from 10a-4p at the Leap.
Rachel Payne will play the harp in Shop 1 from 9a-4p.

Freida’s Flower Sale will be going on in the Pavilion throughout the day.
Budding Artists! Art materials will be available at creative stations throughout the trail for guests to sketch, draw and create what naturally inspires them. Located throughout the park.

Rock City springs to life! Stroll through the gardens as they explode to life, filling our park with the fresh scent of new blooms. Engulf yourself in a multitude of vibrant colors and experience the trail at its botanical finest…
Rose Campion
Blooms late spring to late summer with white-gray stalks covered with magenta, pale pink, or white trumpet-shaped flowers.
Mountain Laurel
Blooms late spring, remaining into early and mid-summer. The cup-shaped flowers take on shades of rose, pink and white with darker, purple spots and markings inside the petals.
Petunia
Blooms from spring until frost and found in every color of the rainbow in solids, contrasting veins or edges, and star patterns. The flowers may be large or small, ruffled, fringed, or double.
Rhododendron
Blossoms appear from early spring to mid-summer, with colors of pure white through cream and yellow, apricot and salmon, pinks to reds, lavender to deep purple and blue.
Native Azalea
With bloom times from early spring to late summer, the colors range from white to shades of pink, red, yellow, and orange. These deciduous shrubs are types of rhododendron.
