Sanitation Procedures

Rock City has implemented several measures to keep both our guests and partners (employees) healthy and safe. Safety and Sanitation Procedures include:

Gardens Sanitation Processes and Procedures

  • Hand sanitizers have been placed strategically throughout Rock City Gardens in areas where foot traffic becomes constricted or handrails, door knobs, or other commonly used fixtures must be handled.
  • All high touch areas within the Gardens are being sanitized every 2 hours.
  • A suggested one-way traffic pattern has been established for guests to enjoy the original Enchanted Trail with adequate social distancing. Partners (employees) have been positioned throughout the Gardens to assist guests with questions or concerns with the new traffic flow and help facilitate social distancing where that is difficult.
  • Recommendations on social distancing throughout the Gardens have been provided, especially in areas where lines or queues tend to form.
  • Accommodations have been made to provide guests the opportunity to avoid closed interior spaces if they so desire, such as Fairyland Caverns.

Food Location Sanitation Processes and Procedures

  • Hand sanitizer has been provided for guests in all food service waiting areas as well as at every register.
  • Partners are washing their hands between every guest interaction they come into contact with shared guest surface.
  • All high touch areas and fixtures in our food service location are being sanitized at least every 2 hours.
  • Protective shields have been installed at all registers.
  • All food service partners are wearing face masks when working in our kitchens and preparing food.
  • Capacity in all of our indoor spaces have been limited to 50% of the building capacity with no more than 10 guests for every 500 square feet.
  • Seating has been modified or removed to ensure that social distancing between parties can be achieved easily.
  • Foot traffic patterns and one-way traffic flows have been established in our locations wherever possible.

Retail Location Sanitation Processes and Procedures

  • Hand sanitizer has been provided for guests at every register.
  • Partners are washing their hands between every guest interaction they come into contact with a shared guest surface.
  • All high touch areas and fixtures in our retail locations are being sanitized at least every 2 hours.
  • Protective shields have been installed at all registers.
  • All retail partners are wearing face masks when working at our registers.
  • Capacity in all of our indoor spaces have been limited to 50% of the building capacity.
  • Foot traffic patterns and one-way traffic flows have been established in our locations wherever possible.
