See Rock City, Inc's Commitment to the Health and Safety of our Partners and Guests

We are so glad to welcome guests to Rock City Gardens.

As you are making plans to visit, please be aware that we have updated our policies based on recommendations from public health officials. We continue to encourage guests to make good decisions for everyone in their party regarding their use of appropriate face coverings. Timed-entry to Rock City is in place to help facilitate distancing throughout the gardens.

Please take a few moments to review some changes we are making to best ensure guest and partner (employee) health.

How to Roam like a Gnome:

Here’s the short on your Rock City experience –
  • Rock City’s Enchanted Trail is primarily an outdoor experience with limited admissions per hour.
  • Signs along the path in the Gardens will guide you and ensure that you See ALL of Rock City in a safe way.
Here are steps for good health practices to protect yourself and others while in the Gardens –

Please do your part to help keep all of our guests safe and comfortable while visiting.

  • Wash your hands frequently while visiting. There are sanitizing stations throughout the gardens for your safety and convenience.
  • Roam like a Gnome and observe physical distancing between your party and others as you explore the gardens.
  • Be aware of COVID-19 symptoms.
    • If you are experiencing cough, sore throat, fever, loss of taste or smell, or shortness of breath, we ask that you please postpone your visit to Rock City Gardens and contact your local Health Department for more information.

Guest and Partner Safety Procedures in Place

Rock City has implemented several measures to help keep both our guests and our partners (employees) healthy and safe. Safety precautions include:

  • Partners are educated on the warning signs for covid-19 and self-screen prior to arriving at work.
  • Masks are optional for our partners when working.
  • Hand sanitizers have been placed strategically throughout Rock City Gardens in areas where foot traffic becomes constricted or handrails, door knobs, or other commonly used fixtures must be handled.
  • All high touch areas within the Gardens are being sanitized regularly.
  • Accommodations have been made to provide guests the opportunity to avoid closed interior spaces if they so desire, such as Fairyland Caverns.
