Rock City Gardens has been recently named as one of the 101 places to visit in National Geographic's book, USA 101: A Guide to America's Iconic Places, Events, and Festivals. "Kitsch, cool and an American original, Rock City is America's minimalist theme park," said award-winning travel writer, Gary McKechnie.

JIM PFITZER MAKES EARTH DAYZ COME ALIVE

LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, GA – “Chattanooga’s Storyteller,” Jim Pfitzer, is onsite during Rock City’s Earth Dayz going on from 11 am to 4 pm, April 16-19 and 23-26. He tells the fascinating story of an eagle and builds a large bird’s nest after the program in Critter Classroom, correlating with the Rock City Raptors Birds of Prey show.

ROCK CITY RECYCLES ITS MISSION AS EARTH DAYZ BEGINS

LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, GA – Rock City Gardens hosts “Earth Dayz,” a new, naturally fun outdoor event on select dates during the month of April, from 11 am to 4 pm. Earth Dayz features the Rock City Raptors Birds of Prey Shows, “Chattanooga’s Storyteller,” Jim Pfitzer and a special hands-on environmental art activity at the Critter Classroom! Rocky and the Gnome are onsite for pictures, along with gemstone panning, Fairyland Forest Makeovers and the Rock Climbing Wall.

ROGER HALLIGAN: ART FOR EARTH DAYZ

LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, GA On Thursday, April 2, Roger Halligan installed his sculpture, Iron Age, at Rock City Gardens in preparation for Earth Dayz, which begins Saturday, April 4. This temporary piece of art is scheduled to be on display for the next few months in Critter Classroom at Rock City.
