Blast from the Past
May 15, 2010I recall visiting in 1976 with my parents and again on my senior trip in 1981 with my class on our way to Florida. I did not realize then how each of those trips to Rock City would create such lasting memories for me. Yes, fat man's squeeze, lovers's leap and the balanced rock are still in my mind like it was just last year. My family and I will by by in June 2010 on our way to Florida and it is almost like visiting a long time friend.
Worth The Trip
April 29, 2010My husband, young son and I heard about Rock City and decided to visit on our way to Pigeon Forge TN. Our two older sons, twins, had not been either but planned to go someday. We were so excited to discover such a beautiful, magical place! We came back with pictures and memories to last forever! My ailing father could not have made the trip or the journey through the "City" but he was amazed at the photos! We lost him recently but now in his place, my mother and now GRANDKIDS are going this summer! Pretty soon our entire family will complete this adventure and we hope to make it an ongoing tradition! No matter how long it takes, or how far, this wonderful experience that awaits you is definitely worth the time and the trip!!!!!!!
