Rock City Square will be transformed for a celebration of harvests and fall foliage. This premiere Fall Celebration includes live German Music, Polka Lessons, German Food, Specialty Beer, Costume Characters and Fun for the whole family. Join the fun at Rock City as we celebrate our German heritage and honor our founder Frieda Utermoehlen Carter!

Event Activities
Stroll along the Buddenstrasse, sing Oompah Karaoke, German Food and Beer, specialty souvenirs, photo opportunities, Live Music, Polka Lessons, and more await you at Rocktoberfest. Event activities include:
- The Buddenstrasse (Avenue of the Booths) will be located at Lovers Leap and will include Artisan Vendors, Pumpkin Painting, Fairyland Forest Makeovers and more
- Big River Beer Garden - Specialty Big River Beer on tap in the Pavilion and on the Rock Shop Patio. Bottled beer will be available at Cliff Terrace.
- German Food including grilled bratwurst, homemade sauerkraut, & roasted potatoes
- Limited Edition Pink Rock City birdhouses, birdhouse ornaments, lapel pins and mugs will be available this year in support of Breast Cancer Awareness!
- Special Souvenirs including novelty hats: chicken hats for the chicken dance and green Biarritz German hats. Also souvenir beer mugs that include a free first beer and discounted re-fills. Be sure to get your Limited Edition Rocktoberfest Beer Stein and Limited Edition "Lance the German Gnome" to celebrate Rocktoberfest!
- Polka Dance Lessons
- Live Bands with audience participation for the “Chicken Dance” and other favorites (see performance schedule below)
- Costumed characters available for photos
- German and Harvest Themed Themed photo opportunities
- Kids Activities including: Interactive Kids Activities (balloons, music, mime, magic, etc) will occur at the Lovers Leap Terraces and throughout the park during the event, offerings may vary throughout event. Plus Fairyland Forest Makeovers*, Pumpking Painting*, Panning for Gems* and the Rock Climbing Wall*

Event Schedule
Music Performance Schedule - Coming Soon
Live German Music and Polka Lessons in the Rock City Pavilion. Band Sets start at 12:30, 2:00, 3:00, and 4:00pm. Polka Lessons will be held at 1:30 and 3:30pm.
Strolling musicians will play on the Lovers Leap Terraces and around the park
