As leaders in the hospitality industry for over 85 years, the health and safety of our guests and partners is a top priority. See Rock City Inc.
With this in mind, leadership has determined out of an abundance of caution and in alignment with other regional attractions, to close Rock City Gardens effective March 14, 2020 until further notice. The health and safety of the guests who visit Rock City, the partners (employees) who work for the hospitality company and the community in which the business is a part of remains the top priority.
Other SRC Inc. properties with operating changes include the Battles for Chattanooga museum and Clumpies Ice Cream Co. are also temporarily closed. The Rock City Starbucks is offering counter service only with limited hours during this time.
We recommend that everyone continue to follow best practices recommended by the CDC to ensure good health including the following:
- Stay at home when you are sick.
- Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially before eating, and after going to the bathroom, blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces and objects daily.
- Hand sanitizers should contain at least 60% – 95% alcohol.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
